In May 2004, FdG Associates led the recapitalization of Colorbök, to provide a minority investor full liquidity for its stake in the Company while providing the Company's co-founder and chief executive partial liquidity and the opportunity to maintain a significant equity interest in the business on a tax-deferred basis. Colorbök is a creator, marketer and distributor of scrapbooking, kids activity, stationery and gift products operating in three business segments: memory & craft (scrapbooking), kids (activities, party favors, back-to-school items, etc.) and gift & stationery. Headquartered in Dexter, Michigan, the Company is one of the top suppliers in the craft and hobby industry to mass, craft and drug chains, as well as independent retailers and smaller craft stores.

Colorbök is aggressively pursuing additional opportunities to expand into dollar, toy and office supply stores, and to further penetrate mass, craft, club and drug chains with its core scrapbooking, kids activity and stationery products. The Company will also opportunistically pursue select acquisitions in adjacent product categories and/or where the Company can leverage its distribution system and customer relationships.

In December 2004, Colorbök completed the first of these acquisitions with the purchase of Quincrafts, a niche designer, manufacturer and marketer of kids crafts and activities. In August 2007, Colorbök also acquired Creative Crafts, Inc., a creator and marketer of kids craft products, further bolstering its kids activity segment.
